Run Forest Run

Filed under: Uncategorized — ptice @ 3:16 pm

This is my brother, Wade. He finished 15th in the local half marathon and this is a picture of him running the Houston Marathon, with a smile. His idea of a good time is running so far that your big toenails turn black and fall off. Sometimes I think I want to run a marathon and then I hear a story like that. I’m sorry, I enjoy wearing flip-flops to much to pull a stunt like that. Good Job Wade, we are very proud of you!

  1. I don’t know if I could still be smiling if my toenail fell off…I think I would be seeking serious medical attention!!

  2. I’ve been thinking about running a marathon for a couple of years and everytime I got serious I got pregnant. If I run one I’ll let you know how my toes do!

  3. When I was in high school I was a dancer. My toenails used to fall off if we had been practicing lots for a big production or something. It was gross! It was also when girls still wore pantyhose everyday…even high schoolers, especially ones with big hair!

Oh, and I’m praying about your job situation. I’m also starting to work a little for Andrew because he needs my help. I know what you’re feeling. God is so good and will bless your willing heart and your family. He will provide the perfect place for you and for your kids. He’s done so much in my heart and in our marriage during this time…so much that is so good. I’m praying.
